Asiago Herb Spread

Serves: about 2 cups
  • 8 ounces of neufchatel or cream cheese.
  • 4 ounces soft butter
  • 4 ounces finely grated aged asiago cheese
  • 1 teaspoon smoked sweet paprika
  • 1 & ½ teaspoons dried oregano
  • ½ teaspoon granulated garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 5 - 6 grinds fresh black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons minced fresh parsley
  1. All ingredients should be at room temperature.
  2. Measure everything into a mixing bowl, and beat on low speed, until completely combined and smooth.
  3. Chill for several hours at least - can be made a couple days ahead.
  4. Scrape the spread into a small bowl for serving, and arrange assorted crackers on a plate for serving with the spread.
  5. Will be fine at room temperature for several hours - refrigerate leftovers.
